• BANEH, Iranian Kurdistan:16th consecutive day of strike by merchants

Apr. 30, 2018– Merchants and shop owners of Baneh, in the Kurdistan province – western Iran, started their sixteenth’s consecutive day of strike and protests today. They are protesting against the closure of border passages, and the increase of customs dues.

· Protest By High Power Substation Operators In Tehran

On Sunday, April 29th, high power substation operators across Iran rallied in protest at the Ministry of Energy building in Tehran.

It has been several times that operators of high-voltage power stations come to Tehran from various provinces and organize a protest rally against the relevant institutions, with the demand for a change of status.

· Unidentified missiles against Syrian regime fighters kill mostly Iranians

Missile strikes against Syrian regime forces in the central province of Hama overnight killed 26 pro-regime fighters, mostly Iranians, a monitor said Monday.

The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights said the fighters had been killed in a raid, “probably” carried out by Israel, on the 47th Brigade base in Hama.

· Setting fire to the posters of Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

· Golrokh Iraee has been returned to notorious Qarchak Prison

Political prisoner Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee has been returned to the notorious Qarchak Prison, in Varamin, without completing her medical treatment.

Ms. Iraee was returned to Qarchak Prison on Sunday, April 29, 2018, after breaking her hunger strike on April 24, upon extensive appeals by other political prisoners and human rights activists.

· Rouhani tells Macron Iran nuclear deal ‘not negotiable’

Iranian regime’s President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday told his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that the nuclear deal his country reached with international powers was “not negotiable”.

“The nuclear deal or any other subject under its pretext is not negotiable in any way,” Rouhani told Macron in a telephone call, quoted by the website of the Iranian presidency.

“Iran will not accept any restrictions beyond its commitments,” he said, after new US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned of Iran’s “ambition to dominate the Middle East” during a visit to Israel.

· John Bolton: Trump hasn’t decided to leave the Iran nuclear deal yet

Washington Examiner, April 29, 2018 – National security adviser John Bolton said Sunday President Trump still hasn’t decided whether to leave the Iran nuclear deal ahead of his May 12 deadline.

“He is certainly considering the framework, the four pillars that [French President Emmanuel Macron] laid out in their meetings last week,” Bolton said during an interview with “Fox News Sunday.”
