IRGC commanders wounded in Iranian plane shot in Syria – report

NCRI – A spokesman for the opposition Syrian has said on Friday that a number of commanders of the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC) were wounded in attack on a plane in Damascus airport on Thursday, according to reports by media in the region.

The Free Syrian Army hit the plane as it was landing in Damascus International Airport, the SANA Revolution Network reported on Thursday.

The news agency added that the Syrian regime had diverted all flights going to the Damascus airport to another airport.

The Syrian opposition sources have been quoted as saying that the airport has become an “operations center” for Bashar Al-Assad regime.

Meanwhile The Iranian regime’s Embassy in Syria denies the information that FSA have downed an Iranian regime’s plane, state-run Asriran reported.

However the report added that opposition activists have released a video showing a large airliner flying before it appeared to be struck with a fireball.
