NCRI – In fear of the consequences of power transition in the U.S.Tabnak News, affiliated with the former Commander of IRGC Mohsen Rezaee, released a report entitled “We have to watch out Turkey’s erratic attitude.” The news reads:

“As Trump entered the White House, the nature of the international system and the foreign policy are defined with a new concept of “the unpredictability of the foreign policy”. The field developments of this region, as well as the trans-regional actors, signify that the Turks are going to change their attitude on foreign policy to get closer to Trump. In this matter, after a telephone conversation between Trump and Erdogan, it was announced that America and Turkey are going to collaborate on fighting with ISIS.

The Turks did not only make arrangements to change their political orientation with Trump. They also intend to create an alliance with Saudi Arabia as well. In this regard, the first session of the Coordination Council of Turkey-Saudi Arabia was held with the presence of the foreign minister of the two countries in Ankara on Tuesday. It seems that the meeting ended in favor of the Turks with good results since the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir at a press conference with his Turkish counterpart made clear that Riyadh and Ankara have the same stance on regional issues. In fact, Turkey and the Saudi regime agreed on hostility with Iran and their interest for the future of Iraq and Syria at the first session of the Coordinating Council.”

The news at the end reads:” According to the recent regional and international developments, we should, therefore, expect a significant change in the foreign policy of Turks regarding the developments in the region including Syria. It would not look far-fetched that the Turks seek to create a safe zone in Syria and even Yemen in alliance with the Americans and Saudis. If this strategy works, the Turks will adopt an opposite attitude towards the regional policies formulated by Iran and Russia. However, the Russians may also shift their policy suddenly in the meantime. It is worth noting that the Turks may change their strategy any time and Ankara might create a triangle of alliance with Washington and Riyadh as well.”
