Human Rights Commission in the Iraqi Parliament condemned the killings in Hawija and called for calm on all sides.

The Iraqi Army has arrested a number of protesters.

The Iraqiya Slate is going to hold a lengthy meeting on Tuesday evening at residence of the Slate’s head, Aiyad Alawi to discuss the possibility of the withdrawal from the government and the parliament following Hawija events.

Parliamentary source told Iraqi News “The meeting will determine the continuity of the Slate within the political process.”

According to Reuters hours after the raid, Sunni tribal members attacked and briefly seized control of three checkpoints in villages around Hawija before armed forces backed by helicopter gunships took them back, military sources and tribal leaders said.

Al-Taqeer TV reported that up on the orders by issued by Maliki Iraqi warplanes have departed Baghdad to bomb Hawija.

Hassan Alvani said Iraq is facing a much bloody situation in next coming days.

Al-Jazeera reported that a number of forces attacking the protesters in Hawija were speaking Persian.

Hassan Alavi, member of Iraqi Parliament said Ayad Allawi and al-Nujaifi are meeting to discuss attack by Maliki forces on Hawija.

The residents of Hawija that were attacked today had been under siege by the Iraqi forces in last four days.

An Iraqi expert told Al-Jazeera that the attack is similar to the attacks on Camp Ashraf by forces of Nouri al-Maliki with the help of Iranian regime’s Quds Forces.

Mohammad Tamim has tried until late last night to stop Maliki from attacking the people in Hawija.

Muhammad Ali Tamim Jubouri, the Minister of Education of Iraq has resigned.

According to local media reports, simultaneous with the developments in Havija in other cities across Iraq shops are closed in protest against al-Maliki.
