Iranian pilots entering Syria via Iraq’s Najaf airport

Information received from an official at Iraq’s Najaf airport indicates the following:
1. An Iraqi passenger plane In the Najaf Ashraf Airport carrying an Iranian delegation along with six Iranian pilots in plain clothes.
2. Four of these individuals are fighter jet pilots and two are helicopter pilots.
3. After two hours of rest, a Syrian plane landed in the Najaf airport.
The pilots boarded the Syrian plane and departed the Najaf airport flying to the Damascus International Airport.
