NCRI – The state-run media reacted to the consequences of the new U.S strategy, reflecting this event with titles such as “Trump tears up JCPOA” and “Trump ends Iran Deal”. The state-run media, Raja News wrote,” as the pressure on the regime has increased, Trump announced our non-compliance to JCPOA.”

According to Raja News, Trump states, We cannot follow the policy which is beneficial for the Iran regime in order to inflict more violence and threats and to have access to the nuclear weapons. I have commanded my government, the U.S. Congress, and our allies to resolve the serious shortcomings.

Vatan-e-Emruz (Homeland Today) Newspaper also makes a headline about Iran Deal writing that,” following Trump’s speech, Iran’s nuclear deal does not accord with Trump’s policies. As was predicted, Trump announced that Iran has no adherence to the deal and it has practically caused the U.S. to pull out of the deal. Trump also talked about the necessity of increasing pressure on Tehran and to convince other countries to cooperate in this regard.”

Vatan-e-Emruz adds, “Trump’s new strategy towards the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is to pull out of the deal. However, the U.S. intends to pull out of the deal unofficially by violating the clauses stated in the deal.”

Kayhan Newspaper affiliated with Khamenei writes, “As was predicted, Trump did not abandon the deal, an agreement that limits Iran regime and gives privilege to the U.S.”

The state-run Kayhan news adds, “American President’s speech showed that he sought to increase America’s concessions and to impose restrictions and pressures on the Iran regime.”

Having delivered a speech at the press conference, Donald Trump answered one of the questions about why he does end the deal right now. In response to this question, he states, “I like the two-stage process. I can eliminate the deal whenever I want. In a short time, we will see whether the Congress acts upon it or not. If they do not take any measures, I will violate the deal myself.”

Iran regime’s President, Hassan Rouhani rushed to the scene after the U.S. president announced the new policies. Rouhani claims, “We were always trying to produce the weapons we needed, and we will make further efforts in this matter.”

He also praised Khamenei by calling the ‘Iran regime’ as a nation and stating, “You are not able to put distance between the Iranian people and the Supreme Leader. Our revolution was based on the fact that religion is not separate from politics and (Khamenei) is the link between religion and politics.”
