NCRI – As factional disputes continue over the recent incident in Tehran, Mullah Mohsen Rahami of the faction loyal to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, “Losers of the elections should not settle scores using the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran.”

“Following this incident, some of the rivals have already started rejoicing and questioning the security provided by the government. Everywhere in the world such incidents lead to unity, but those who failed in the election are attempting to profit somehow,” he said.

On the other hand, elements and media outlets of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei/Revolutionary Guards faction are disclosing more facts about the incident against their rivals.

“Today’s security breaches are the results of the election and the aftermath,” said Abdullah Ganji, Director of the IRGC-affiliated Javan daily.

Former MP Ahmad Tavakoli form the Khamenei faction lashed at those who were against sending forces to Syria. MP Seyed Mahmoud Nabavian considered this incident the result of Rouhani’s negotiations with the West.

“The nuclear deal is placing the country closer to war and this is the beginning of this path,” another mullah linked to the Khamenei faction said.
