Iran: Power struggle intensifies between the clerical regime’s factions

Those who want secularism in Iran are 'seditionists', judiciary chief warnsHead of the mullahs’ Judiciary threatens Rouhani

NCRI – With the inauguration of the new President of the mullahs’ regime approaching, the infighting within the mullahs’ regime has intensified. Sadegh Larijani, head of the regime’s Judiciary said in this regard: Those who did not accept the Imam’s path and did not accept the Velayat-e-Faqih (Supremacy of the clergy), now they have emerged again, “the viper of their lives got some heat and they move and have clung to the movement, but they are wrong.”

In a reference to Rouhani and his Cabinet, he threatened, “All officials and stakeholders must walk in the original path of revolution and Islam in their political direction, and not to go the wrong way, otherwise the Iranian people will not let them do that”. (News Network TV – July 24).

Meanwhile, Esfanani, the spokesman of the regime’s Parliament judicial committee warned Rouhani on the use of seditionists in his Cabinet and said if the seditionists did not take Ayatollah Larijani’s warning seriously and tried to abuse the atmosphere, they should not expect the Judiciary not to react. Such people cannot enter the political atmosphere of the country. Ayatollah Larijani’s warnings have legal and judicial positions. (Fars News Agency – July 25).

A few days earlier, Khamenei’s outlet, Kayhan daily, warned Rouhani explicitly and wrote: “God forbid, Rouhani will fail if he stands in the position of liability against the West, and the seditionists. The first demands of both ranges are on the Cabinet and in particular the 5 key ministries of Interior, Intelligence, Science, Culture and Islamic Guidance and Foreign Affairs. He threatened: “It is natural that the representatives of the Parliament will not allow the revitalization of this parasite movement.”

Meanwhile, representatives of the dominant band warned mullah Rohani that ministers must be “Accepting the Velayat-e-Faqih in broad term, to be cultural expert, religious, scholar of Islam, knowing the enemy, believer in religion, with cultural background combined with cultural executive management, familiarity with youth, and certainly not to be part of the intrigue of 98, 99 and 2009 or their relatives “(Farhang State radio –July 21)\
