Iran: Khamenei says “U.S. Government is not trustworthy”

NCRI – The Iranian regime’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, said on Saturday “some of what occurred in the New York trip [by Hassan Rouhani] was not proper” and he did not trust the U.S.”

In his first public remarks about Hassan Rouhani’s trip to New York Khamenei said: “we are pessimistic about the Americans. The US government is not trustworthy, is self-important, and breaks its promises.”
Khamenei said — without elaborating — that some of what happened in the New York trip was not appropriate.

Khamenei also lambasted Washington for its alliance with Israel and said that the American administration is a government that is seized by the international network of Zionism, and has to put up with the usurper regime and show flexibility towards it.
