Iran is ‘drowning’ in crisis, says Ahmadinejad

NCRI – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has likened Iran’s current economic, social and political crisis to a country ‘drowning with weights tied to its legs’.

The Iranian regime’s president made the scathing assessment of the regime in a speech during a visit to city of Ahvaz.

He said of the country’s rulers: “You have tied our hands and thrown us into a pool. Then you tell us come out and also bring the country up with you.

“We say yes, we could do that with our hands tied but then hang a heavy weight to our legs. We tell them you tied our hands already. Why do you hang the weight too?

“We tell them no problem, we can pull county up, but next they come and put their hands on our heads in the water. And they repeat that.

“We tell them ‘have a little justice’. You tied our hands and it was OK, you hung a weight and it was OK, but why do you continue to hold our heads under the water?”
