NCRI – Khamenei’s representative and Friday prayer leader in Yazd province stating that Velayat-e Faqih (Supreme Leader) is the pillar of the regime and revolution said: “The enemy is trying hard to undermine the position of Velayat-e faqih and leadership in society.”
According to state-run IRNA news agency, Mullah Mohammad Reza Naseri in his sermons in the Friday prayer in Yazd added: “If Khamenei and Khomeini were not leaders, the revolution would not work, the Americans would rule the country, and Iran would not grow and achieve progress.”
He stated that the Velayat-e faqih should be consolidated and preserved in the society, adding: “Velayat-e faqih saved the country from incidents and divisions and made us move away from abjection to dignity and honour.”
Naseri said that some people would be happy with the words of the United States officials and the Mojahedin regarding the change in the Iranian government, and added: “We know that God forbidden we all would be destroyed if the Velayat-e faqih is hit and the enemy infiltrate, because whether you are a reformist or a hardliner do not matter to them and they do not differentiate between them.
In order to further expand the atmosphere of intimidation and crackdown in the society, emphasizing the practice of the so-called “promotion of virtue and prevention of vice,” he added: “Insignificant attention is paid to the implementation of this important duty in the society while this practice has many benefits to the society.”
