NCRI – An explosion at a steel plant in central Iranian province of Yazd on Saturday caused huge damages to the facility but no human casualties were reported.
A furnace at Keyvan Ardakan Steel Plant , jointly owned by Iran and India exploded due to water leakage, state-run media reported.
The estimated financial loss stands at the plant has a total of 144 workers including 33 Indians is over 100 million dollars.
The plant produces metal bars from scrap metal.
Another explosion in the same plant claimed the life of one worker last year.
