Iran: Deputy minister of industries shot dead, state-run media repot

NCRI – An unidentified attacker shot dead the Parliamentary Deputy of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Mine in Tehran on Sunday night, state-run news media reported.

Safdar Rahmatabadi, was shot dead as he was driving his vehicle in Tehran’s Sabalan square at about 19:50 local time (1620 GMT), the reports said

“The unidentified attacker shot a bullet at his head and another one at his chest,” a report by the state-run IRNA news agency said.

A report citing a police officer at the scene said the shots had been fired from inside his car as bullet shells had been found inside the vehicle whose windows were intact.
