Bilasuvar (APA) – Tension arose on Azerbaijan-Iran border again, APA’s south bureau reports.
Iran completely closed Bilasuvar checkpoint yesterday. At present, more than 200 vehicles and more than a thousand people are queuing on the border.
Deputy chief of Bilasuvar Customs Department of the State Customs Committee, Mirrafig Mirsultanov confirmed the fact to APA. According to him, Iran doesn’t have any reason for closing the checkpoint. Though we tried to meet with the Iranian side, but it has not taken place yet.
