NCRI – General Ahmad Rahal, Syrian military and strategic analyst says that despite brutal bombings and attacks by Assad and Revolutionary Guard’s forces, the fighters in Aleppo keep resisting.
Following is part of General Rahal’s interview with ‘Syria Alyom’:
On creating humanitarian passages and acceding to Russia’s conditions by the Syrian fighters besieged inside the city of Aleppo, the Syrian military and strategic analyst General Ahmad Rahal said that “naturally, the fighters will not agree to such terms. Today, the United Army of Aleppo has been formed. All the previous militant groups were disbanded and are now organized as a united army. The Army of Aleppo believes in the objectives of the Free Syrian Army and the demands of the Syrian people.”
“If (Steffan) De Mistura is seeking a solution, he must first move the terrorist militia groups who have besieged Aleppo away from the city. It’s impossible to surrender Aleppo to Iranian regime, Hezbollah and Assad’s regime. It’s impossible to surrender Aleppo to Iraqi militias, Revolutionary Guard, Quds Force and Hezbollah. If they are looking for a middle ground, all the terrorists who have surrounded around Aleppo must withdraw from their posiitions”, he added.
General Ahmad Rahal maintained that “the fighters are going to stay inside Aleppo, administering the city without Assad’s forces and Iranian regime’s militias.”
