Dr. Ayad Allawi: Maliki’s government has failed and regional interventions and militias activities have reached dangerous levels

NCRI – In his speech at the Conference on the Middle East and North Africa in Italy, Iyad Allawi said that the Iraqi government has failed to provide services and create security, economic growth and job opportunities, and operations which are targeting to destroy Iraq’s political experience and political stability have increased.

 Allawi added: What has taken place in Iraq is a consequence of lack of political presence of the international community and regional crisis and tensions, Radio Nava Website reported on July 5.

Referring to the armed militias supported by Iran, Allawi said: Dangerous levels of harmful regional meddling and unusual incitement of militias’ armed operations who do not respect any discipline or law is seen in Iraq.

The are meddling by certain countries in the region into the internal affairs of Iraq and obvious attempts are made in order to exert pressure on the political process and moving it in favor of this or that country.
