BAGHDAD, December1 — Coalition forces continue to degrade the Katai’b Hezbollah terrorist network, with the capture of four suspected network criminals during operations early Monday in Baghdad.

Acting on special intelligence information, Coalition forces targeted two separate residences in search of suspected Katai’b Hezbollah members.

At the first location in Baghdad’s Adhamiyah district, Coalition forces apprehended one suspected criminal without incident.  Forces captured three additional suspects during a separate operation just south of Sadr City.

Coalition forces apprehended 33 Iranian-sponsored criminals in the last month alone.  Katai’b Hezbollah is assessed to be a surrogate of Iran.  Its members are believed to be responsible for recent attacks against Iraqi citizens and Iraqi and Coalition forces.
