Bahrain asks Iranian regime not to meddle

NCRI – Bahrain’s Interior Minister Rashed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa said on Wednesday that the Iranian regime has a history of meddling in Bahrain’s internal affairs, including its attempts to stage an unsuccessful coup in 1981, according to al-Arabiya.

Khalifa added that after the 1990s the Iranian regime planned to create a Hezbollah group and trained individuals in Syria, a plot that was discovered in 2008.

At the same time, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Abdul-Rahman al-Attiyah condemned the Iranian regime’s meddling in the Gulf states’ internal affairs.
