NCRI – On January 31st 2017, the Advisor of the Minister of Defense and the Spokesman for the Arabic Coalition, Gen. Ahmed al-Assiri in an interview with Hadath TV said that Saudi frigates were monitoring the shipping in the port of Hodeidah that Houthi’s attack endangered the sailing security in the Red Sea.”
He added:”Hodeidah is one of the major ports to transfer humanitarian aid to the people of Yemen and the terrorist attack impedes the activities of the port and this is another sabotage attempted by the putschist militias.”
Gen. Ahmed al-Assiri referred to the terrorist threats in Yemen and claimed that the terrorist threat to Yemen by Houthis and al-Qaeda are the two sides of the same coin and they are working together.
