Arab foreign ministers in Cairo have stressed rejection of the Iranian regime’s attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Arab countries, the Saudi Gazette reported.
During the opening session of the Arab League Council on Monday, the Arab ministers reiterated unconditional and full support for constitutional legitimacy in Yemen, represented by President Abdrabbu Mansour Hadi.
At the conclusion of a session in Cairo, the Council expressed full support for the military action carried out by the Arab Coalition forces in Yemen.
The Council strongly condemned the “treacherous targeting” of one of the Arab coalition camps in Yemen by Houthi rebels that are backed by the regime in Iran. It expressed condolence to the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.
