NCRI – Secretary General of the Arab League is making consultations for choosing an Arab envoy for Iraq, diplomatic source in Cairo has told reporters.
The move mainly aims to ease out political tensions following an Iraqi army attack on a protest in Iraqi city of Hawijah on Tuesday which left many killed and wounded, the source has told reporters.
The envoy for Iraq is likely to be from Egypt, Kuwait News Agency reported.
