Two more prisoners executed as regime puts more than 300 to death since June

NCRI – Two more prisoners were hanged in Iran’s Bandar Abbas prison on November 7 – bringing to number of executions since June under the regime’s new ‘moderate’ president Hassan Rouhani to more than 300.

The latest pair put to death have been named as Ismail Mahmoudi and Ahmad Jangjou, who had both been in prison since 2009.

The regime has executed at least 55 prisoners, including 20 political prisoners, in ten days.

The head of Iran’s parliament Sadeq Larijani has also called for the execution of those who participated in the assassination of Zabol city prosecutor, saying: “Participants in this assasination will soon be punished.”

Zabol prosecutor Mousa Nouri and his driver were killed on their way to their office in Iran’s southeaster Sistan and Baluchestan province on Wednesday morning, according to state-run media.
