Two men beheaded in Iran

NCRI –  Two prisoners named Abdolrahman and Parviz were beheaded in the southern cities of Bandar Abbas and Bandar Khamir on Wednesday, May 16. Three other men were hanged in Tehran’s notorious Evin prison on Wednesday, the newspaper Tehran Emrouz reported today. The executed men are named as Mohammad Safar, Alireza and Behzad.

The news of beheading was removed from the ‘Tehran Emrouz’  website shortly after it was posted.

A woman named Zahra Nazari was hanged in Bandar Abbas on May 7 and fifteen prisoners were hanged last week in eastern city of Mashhad.

The wave of recent executions follows widespread protest and demonstrations by Iranian students, teachers, workers and nurses throughout the country.
