Three individuals were executed in Tehran on security charges

NCRI -April 30, 2007-Three individuals were executed in Tehran this morning.
A source close to Judiciary of the clerical regime described the crime of the three victims as “plotting to place bombs in Tehran.” The names and details of the three has not been announced. The source added: The sabatogers were sentenced to execution by the judge of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court.”

The mullahs’ judiciary cited “the confessions made during interrogation of the arrested individuals.” He said: “They confessed that they planned to place bombs in Milad Tower, Karaj Dam, and in a metro station.”

The Amnesty International reported on Friday that following China, Iran holds the highest number of executions the world over. According to this report, while the number of executions decreased globally this year, the number of executions in Iran showed an increase during the same period.
