Ashkan Zahabian, a student at Ferdosi University in Mashhad, was arrested, beaten and sent to prison for the fourth time on May 27 after the security forces raided his house.
He is now suffering from skin diseases and ear problems due to the unhygienic conditions of the prison. Guards have also prevented his family from sending him medication since he was jailed.
