Seven more prisoners hanged in Iran

NCRI – The mullahs’ regime in Iran has hanged another seven prisoners on the same day this week.

Four prisoners were hanged on Tuesday in the central province of Yazd. Their names were not given.

Three other prisoners were hanged on the same day in a prison in Rafsanjan, central Iran. One of the prisoners was named as Hossein Seifi-Qoli. The other two were not named.

At least 64 prisoners, including two women, have been executed in Iran, in some cases in public squares, within a two week period.

A statement by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein on Wednesday said: “Iran has reportedly executed more than 600 individuals so far this year. Last year, at least 753 people were executed in the country.”
