The Iranian regime has informed the mother of Reyahaneh Jabbari that her daughter would be hanged tomorrow morning after being sentenced to death for stabbing an agent of the regime’s intelligence that tried to sexually abuse her.

Ms. Pakravan, Reyhaneh’s mother met Reyhaneh for one hour today. Authorities at the prison have refused to give any information to the family about where she is being transferred for imminent execution.

Ms. Reyhaneh Jabbari, a decorator, has been in prison since seven and a half years ago. The henchmen of the clerical regime placed Reyhaneh under savage tortures to extract forced confession.

Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for the Middle East and North Africa Programme said in a statement today: “Time is running out for Reyhaneh Jabbari, the authorities must act now to stop her execution.”

Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui said:“The death penalty is a despicable punishment that is both cruel and inhumane. Applying such a punishment in any circumstances is an affront to justice, but doing so after a flawed trial that leaves huge questions hanging over the case only makes it more tragic.”

The Iranian Resistance has repeatedly called on all international bodies and human rights organs to take urgent action to save the life of Rayhaneh Jabbari.

The misogynic regime of the mullahs is attempting to intensify the atmosphere of terror in the society and to terrorize all women and youth who have not succumbed to the oppression and vulgarly of regime’s elements.
