NCRI – Political prisoners at Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison stood up to the atrocious assault of henchmen of the mullahs’ dictatorship and prevented transfer of one of the prisoners to solitary confinement, human rights activists reported on Saturday.
Last Thursday, the prison guards brutally attacked Zanyar Moradi, a political prisoner condemned to death, and after verbal and physical attack on him wanted to take him for further torture to the designated torture chamber, but faced protests and resistance by his fellow political prisoners which forced them to retreat rendering their criminal plan aborted.
This criminal assault was lead by Hossein Daftari, a chief henchman of the regime and a member of the torture teams at Gohardasht Prison, who has maimed and mutilated a huge number of political prisoners under torture.
