According to Hrana news agency on Tuesday, the hangings took place in the city of Oroumieh on Monday. Two of the executed were women, it said.
Several days ago, the clerical regime had transferred 12 of the prisoners to solitary confinement in the prison in preparation of the hangings. It is feared that the three remaining prisoners will be executed soon.
