The Iranian regime has begun a new round of suppression and surveillance of the Zoroastrian religious minority, according to reports from Iran.

Security forces have summoned members of the group for interrogation in recent weeks, and have restricted their access to public places.

Cameras have also been placed outside a Zoroastrian institute and orders have been issued for them to suspend classes and cultural meetings.

Security forces also raided the home and work place of a Zoroastrian journalist, confiscating his personal computer, CDs, documents and personal belonging, before arresting him on December 9.
