Mother of one of the Victims of 2009 Uprising: it’s Time for the Tyrants to Cry

NCRI – The mother of Amir Arshad Tajmir, a youth who was run over and killed by a vehicle belonging to the law enforcement forces during the 2009 uprising, has written in a letter that she has watched the video of her son being killed for the first time in seven years.

Shahin Mahinfar, a former anchor of Iranian Radio and Television, has on Shiite’s religious day ‘Ashura’ addressed her murdered son in her Facebook page: “that’s enough; don’t you cry any more. God! My Amir Arshad’s cries are enough. This time, it’s the tyrant’s turn to cry… those who steal oil rigs and embezzle, meanwhile cut off the hands and feet of a hungry jobless for theft. Those whose children are living it up with the public money in the ‘down with the United States’ while keep our noble and cultured children in their prime of life in dungeons. Those who behave otherwise once in private and call our youth delinquent and criminal for pursuing happiness.”

The video related to Amir Tajmir being run over by two vehicles belonging to the law enforcement forces on December 27, 2009 is one of the most well-known videos of suppression and killing of the Iranian people during the 2009 uprising.

According to Mr. Tajmir’s family, he was going to help a number of women being beaten by the State Security Forces at the time, but was run over deliberately by police vehicles.
