More executions reported in Iran

ImageNCRI – According to state-run dailies yesterday, three prisoners were executed in notorious Evin prison in Tehran and the death sentence for three more were issued in Qazvin, West of Tehran.

Those executed were named as Majid Baqerzadeh, Amir-Reza Sabihi and Gholamali Ahmadi.

Kayhan daily reported that one of those sentenced to death in Qazvin was a 22-year-old woman identified only by her first name as Afsaneh.

The number of executions carried out or death sentences issued in Iran since Ahmadinejad’s appointment as the clerical regime’s president exceeds 120. This is based on what has been reported by the state media.
