NCRI – The Iranian regime’s State Security Forces (SSF) in the vicinity of the northwestern municipality of Seqez shot and killed a young man and severely injured another, according to Harana and Rawa news agencies on Wednesday.

Mohammad Khoda Rahmi, 20, and Anvar Khoda Rahmi were traveling to Seqez to repair their car, according to reports, when they came under abrupt fire from the regime’s agents stationed at the Hassan Salaran base.

Workers’ protests

A group of workers at the Naznakh textile factory in the city of Qazvin staged a protest gathering on Tuesday in front of the factory in reaction to six months of overdue pay and the factory’s closure.

One of the workers said, “For the past eight months, my kids haven’t had meat to eat. I’m behind on four months of rent, but no one seems to be listening to what we have to say.”

Separately, 180 workers at the Alborz China factory in Qazvin on Tuesday protested in front of the factory, objecting to a year of late salaries and a decision to close down the company.

In Shiraz, workers at the Iran Telecommunications company are still continuing with their demonstrations in protest to 17 months of late salaries.

Undeclared martial law in Tehran

The clerical dictatorship in Iran has imposed an undeclared martial law in Tehran in fear of popular protests during the month of Ramadan.

According to obtained reports, agents of the regime’s State Security Forces (SSF), intelligence operatives, and paramilitary Bassij forces appear at special Qadr ceremonies equipped with wireless devices, tear gas and handcuffs to create an atmosphere of fear and terror in a bid to prevent growing anti-regime demonstrations.
