Iranian regime urges citizens to spy on each other

NCRI – The Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) is urging citizens to spy on each other and has warned of suspicious people who want to sow dissent in society.

The infamous MOIS also said anyone repeating information they hear on foreign TV and radio stations risked being charged with ‘collaboration with the enemy’.

The threats come amid the mullah’s fear increased factional feuding ahead of the fraught presidential election in June.

In a 23-article statement, security chiefs urged citizens to report any suspicious activities to ‘protect people against enemy conspiracies’.

It said people should beware of ‘suspicious phone calls’ and refuse to give out any personal information about their home or employment.

And in one alarmist paragraph, the statement said: “The gossip and rumours spread by foreigners are aimed at creating division among the authorities and destroying our national unity. Do not pass them to others.”
