According to Resalat State-owned newspaper on May 29th Saeed Agha Sadeghi, deputy head of Iranian regime’s prisons said: “Based on an order from the Head of Prisons, thugs arrested in the streets are considered dangerous criminals and are banned from all the services offered inside the prisons”.
Alireza Jamshidi the spokesperson for the Judiciary of the regime also confirmed cruel suppression of young people referred to as “thugs.” He reiterated: “Judiciary will strongly confront all those who undermine security of the nation.”
He confirmed detention of 1500 youths charged as “thugs” and said they should expect heavy punishment.
