NCRI – Two prisoners were reported to have been hanged in the central prison of Mashhad, northeast Iran, according to state-run daily Quds Tuesday, April 27.
The prisoners were not identified and the report does not specify when their sentences were carried out but it states that they were put to death in the presence of judicial and police authorities. The state daily described the two prisoners as “men with evil character.”
