Iran: Two prisoners hanged in Bandar Abbas

NCRI – The Iranian regime henchmen hanged two prisoners in southern city of Bandar Abbas on Thursday.

The two prisoners were identified by their initials P.A. and F.S. The prisoners were hanged in the city’s main prison.

Freedom House said in a statement today that “the government’s human rights record has not improved under President Rouhani.”

“During the first two weeks of January, some 40 individuals were executed.”

Freedom House urged the Obama administration and the EU to place human rights violations at the center of their engagement with the Iranian regime.

“Progress in talks to limit Iran’s nuclear program will do little to soften the continuing humanitarian disaster that is Iran’s human rights record,” the statement said.
