NCRI – The political prisoners Ali Moezzi, Saeid Shirzad and Behnam Mousivand, all from Karaj Gohardasht Prison, have in a letter condemned the arrest of Golrokh Ebrahimi.

In their letter titled ‘yet another attack against Arash Ebrahimi’s family’, they have written: “This time, they (the security forces) went to Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee. While her husband, Arash, is serving his 19-year prison sentence, they raided her house, arrested her and took her to Evin Prison to serve a six-year prison sentence for her human rights activities as well as writing a story. These types of pressures on Arash, Golrokh and other political and human rights activists is nothing new, happening every single day in every corner of Iran.”

Another part of the letter reads “to continue its repression and intimidation, the authoritarian religious regime is not going to spare any type of repression and violation of people’s rights. And this is where the society’s mission for not leaving alone its committed children and helping its freedom fighters will be seen more than ever.”

At the end of the letter, the political prisoners have condemned this move by the Iranian regime and expressed their support for Arash and Golrokh Ebrahimi and stressed that they’re not going to give up until Iran’s liberation from tyranny, along which way, they will shake the hands of all fighters against reaction and fascism ruling Iran.
