Based on received information from inside the prison on Sunday, December 29, six prisoners sentenced to death in the notorious prison of Ghezelhesar in Karaj were sent to solitary confinement. It is believed that they are going to be hanged very soon.
On the other hand, six Sunni political prisoners in ward 350 of Evin Prison have been banned from having face-to-face visitors and are probably going to be executed very soon following a suspicious television confession.
Relatives of two of these political prisoners, who personally approached to visit their loved one, were refused by the prison officials.
Mokhtar Rahimi, Shahram Ahmadi, Kaveh Vaisi, Kaveh Sharifi, Taleb Maleki and Behrouz Shah-nazari have been banned from having visitors for 5 months now.
