NCRI – A prisoner was hanged in the Gohardasht Prison, in the city of Karaj, at the same day that the Iranian regime president, Hassan Rouhani was giving speech in the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, September 24.
The prisoner had been transferred to a solitary confinement along with some other prisoners on Tuesday to proceed with their execution sentence.
The man hanged was identified as Lotfallah Faramarzi 48. He had spent 4 years in prison.
According to other reports three other prisoners were hanged last week in Orumieh Prison.
The three have been identified as Khorshid Mohammadi, Sahand Ali Mohammadi and Faroukh Yegani.
In addition, 8 other prisoners have been transferred to solitary confinement to await their execution.
