Iran: Prisoner executed for crime committed at age of 16

NCRI – Iranian regime hanged a young man in the central city of Isfahan on Tuesday.  He was 16 at the time of the alleged crime state-run daily Etemad reported today.

The prisoner was identified by his first name Javad. His family was informed a day before the hanging.

Currently there are at least 70 minors on death row in Iran according to international organizations.
