Some 3,000 prisoners in ward 2 of Qezel-hesar Prison in the city of Karaj continued their hunger strike. These prisoners went on strike following the mass execution of 11 prisoners and to protest the prisons condition.
On Wednesday, December 4, 45 political prisoners in prisons across the country went on a one-day hunger strike to protest brutal executions and to express their support with the several thousand hunger strikers in Qezel-hesar Prison.
The one-day hunger strike was held on the 40th day of the execution of two Kurdish political prisoners, Habibollah Golparipour and Ismael Mohammadi.
