Iran: Political prisoners name regime’s torturers and murderers

NCRI – Iranian political prisoners have publicly named two of the regime’s most feared henchman guilty of the torture and murder of minority Sunni Muslims.

The political prisoners being held in Balouchestan Province first identified Hossein Ali Shahriari, a member of parliament from Zahedan, who participated in the destruction of a Sunni mosque in 2008.

After destroying the mosque, the proctors were arrested and tortured before receiving long prison sentences.

Shahriari also ordered the assassination of other Sunni clerics and Balouchi leaders. His son is also a state torturer at the Ministry of Intelligence torturer, it was revealed.

The second henchman was named as Mohammad Ali Sari, the Mayor of the Sarbaz district, near the city of Chabahar.

He has been identified as an Intelligence Ministry agent whose reports on his victims have lead to their arrest, imprisonment, torture and murder.

He also personally tortured and killed many others, including a Sunni cleric he is said to have poisoned several years ago.
