Iran: Political Prisoner becomes unconscious due to long hunger strike

NCRI – One of the two political prisoners of the Gonabadi Dervishes went unconscious on Monday on the sixth day of his dry hunger strike in Adel Abad Prison in city of Shiraz.

After 64 days of hunger strike on liquid diet, Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri have been on hunger strike since 69 days ago.

They have started a dry hunger strike since Thursday March 21 to protest the imprisonment of a number of Dervishes’ lawyers in solitary confinement of Ward 209 of Evin prison.

Mr. Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri, who are imprisoned in Shiraz Adel Abad prison on the charges of “propaganda against the regime, acting against national security” among others, are under very critical condition due to long hunger strike.
