On Thursday, November 14, mothers of the martyrs of the 2009 uprising gathered at Behesht Zahra Cemetery, Tehran to pay tribute to them.
Security and intelligent forces were widely present and prohibit the mothers to visit Neda Aqa Soltan’s cemetery. The visitors protested to this inhumane measure and expressed their outrage forcing the security forces to pull back.
Several other mothers also gathered at the cemetery of Mostafa Karim Beigi, another martyr of the 2009 uprising, in the city of Karaj and paid tribute to him and other martyrs.
