Iran: Intelligence Ministry installs spying devices inside Tehran’s Evin prison after raid

NCRI – Prisoners chanted ‘death to the dictator’ in anger at a raid by Iranian security forces on their ward at Tehran’s notorious Evin prison to install surveillance devices.

A four member team of Ministry of Intelligence and Security agents spent several hours searching prisoners’ belongings in Ward 350, and installing eavesdropping equipment in their cells – and also in the inmates common room known as Room 11.

The Iranian agents also stole prisoners belongings during the raid on Thursday morning, according to reports from inside Iran.

Colonel Amanian – the commander of the special unit for protection of prisons in Tehran province – was directied the raid at prion.
