NCRI – On Friday, Mullahs' judiciary suspended its earlier order to stay Hiwa Boutimar's death sentence.

Adnan Hassanpour and Abdolvahed "Hiwa" Botimar were sentenced to death on July 16 by a revolutionary court in Mariwan, in Iran's northeastern Kurdistan province, the Iranian Resistance source reported from Iran.

The Iranian journalist was sentenced to death on the charges of "being corrupt on earth," said judiciary spokesman Ali Reza Jamshidi in an interview abusing Quranic terms to justify the crime.

The two journalists wrote for the magazine Aso (Horizons), before it was shut down in August, 2005.

The change in the sentence has not been submitted to his family or his attorney yet.

On February 15, for the second time, a new court tried Mr. Boutimar in the absence of his lawyer and reached the decision leading to his death sentence.
