Members of families and relatives of a group of sixteen prisoners on death row gathered outside Central Prison in city of Karaj on Sunday after they were informed that their loved ones have been transferred to solitary confinements to await their execution.
On Saturday, the Iranian regime’s henchmen in Karaj’s Central Prison took away some 40 prisoners held in various sections for execution. Fearing protests and riots by their cellmate the prisoners were transferred to prisons in other cities including Qazvin.
These prisoners are expected to be hanged in coming days, according to reports received from Iran.
