Iran: Health Sunni political prisoners on hunger strike is deteriorating

The health of four Sunni Kurdish political prisoners on death row in Iran has deteriorated as they have been on hunger strike since June 14.

Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Mola’ei, Jamshid and Jahangir Dehqani went on hunger strike to protest their transfer from Gohardasht prison in order to have their sentence carried out.
They have been sentenced to death on the charges of “propaganda against the regime, corruption on earth, and Moharebeh”.

These four prisoners have suffered severe weight loss, low blood pressure and kidney problems. Hamed Ahmadi also had stomach bleeding.
