NCRI – Political prisoners in Iran’s Gohardasht Prison have been subjected to violent attacks and searches after refusing a meal, reports from inside the regime have revealed.
Prison guards and anti-riot forces raided cells at 3.30pm, on April 17, destroying personal possessions and hurling insults, it was reported.
Political prisoner Nameq Mahmoudi was said to have been severely beaten and injured in the attack, where prisoners chanted, ‘Down with the dictator, down with the oppressor, whether it’s the Shah or the Supreme Leader’.
